The Washington Post adds ‘Keyword” to its games suite
The Washington Post has added ” Key” to its growing collection of online games. The clues for “Keyword” are a play on the typical crossword. Instead of the sentence clues, they consist of six words that each contain a missing character. The goal of the game involves filling in the blanks of each word to reveal the six-letter key. This is The Post’s third game.
Our readers are embracing the growing portfolio of interactive gaming with an increase in user engagement. Keyword is a daily word puzzle. This is a quick twist on the crossword where you have to guess a six letter keyword in order to complete six horizontal word.
How does the score summary page work?
After a keyword is completed, the score summary screen will appear. The score summary screen shows you your total guesses and time, as well as the average guess for each keyword. You can also see a summary of keywords for the past 7 days. It allows you to play recent keywords that you missed and unlocks a bonus level. It also shows your lifetime score.

Signing in to your Washington Post account allows you to save scores on multiple devices and prevents them from being reset.

You will be able to see a completed game if you have a shared account and someone else has already played it while you are signed in.
