Didn’t hear the alarm. My phone was face-down under the duvet. Classic. Looked at the clock — 8:37am. Meeting at 9. Somewhere across town. I had 6 minutes to get out of the flat and still look like a functioning adult. No time to overthink. No time for mirrors. I needed clothes that wouldn’t embarrass
